A bored Sainsbury's baker hid angry poems in packs of biscuits

“Seven pound an hour/ Is the price of my labour/ Loyalty costs more.”

HERE’S A VERY creative way of expressing dissatisfaction at work.

In the UK, an unknown Sainsbury’s baker wrote haiku-style poems and secreted them in packs of biscuits, each signed off with the hashtag #theboredbaker.

Customers purchasing the biscuits soon discovered a little bitterness to go along with their tweet treat.

We’re guessing this person is not thrilled about their job.

A spokesperson for the supermarket chain told Buzzfeed that the biscuits had been taken off the shelves:

As soon as we realised one of our bakers had been putting notes in a small number of cookies, we immediately checked them and withdrew them from sale.
Obviously this should never have happened and we apologise to anyone who was affected.

Aw! But we like the Bored Baker. Come back, all is forgiven.
